National Park Galichica

Known locally as the dry mountain, Galichica actually ferries premium-grade water from Lake Prespa to her sister Lake Ohrid through mysterious underground channels. Its elite habitats furnish homes for 5,000 species of flora and fauna from bears to wildcats to golden eagles. It may even harbor one of the world’s rarest animals, the Balkan lynx!

Important Plant Area, Prime Butterfly Area, UNESCO Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, Emerald Site and UNESCO World Heritage, there’s almost nothing Mount Galichica cannot do!
