Lake Ohrid scored big when it landed the Society of Wetland Scientists’ (SWS) annual European conference in May 2018. SWS is an international organization with over 3,000 expert members, many of whom have dedicated their lives to the research of habitats like Lake Ohrid and Studenchishte Marsh. Nobody understands wetlands like they do.
