36 VIEWS OF LAKE OHRID

Inspired by Hokusai, crafted by Earth, uncovered by the curious and created by the people of Macedonia, 36 Views of Lake Ohrid is a summary of the Great Book of Ohrid, a 2,000,000 year story written line by line beneath the clear waters of this mysterious ancient lake.

Compiled from 200 photographs, submitted by 60 special lake-lovers for Lake Day 2018 and converted into the style of Japanese woodblock painting, we present it here as yet another gift from Lake Ohrid to the living world she nurtures. A free PDF download (mobile recommended) is available under the viewer below as are all #36Views.
